Submit one or two photos and Pocket Botanist returns the common name, scientific name, family, and a confidence figure. It works on flowers, houseplants, trees, shrubs, succulents, herbs, fungi, and bark. One shot is usually enough.
Not sure why your plant looks unwell? Send a photo and the model flags the symptom you can see, suggests the likely cause, and proposes the smallest correction first. It works on indoor and outdoor plants.
Open a chat for any plant in your collection and ask whatever you like. The model has your care history, your notes, and a botanical profile to lean on. Twenty turns a day on Premium.
Every identification settles into your collection automatically. Add notes, label a garden zone, mark a favorite, attach a location. Over months it becomes the most honest record you'll keep of where you've been.
On Premium, watering is tuned to each plant: the size and material of its pot, the light in its room, and your local forecast. Terracotta dries faster than a glazed pot, a bright spot drinks more than a shady corner, and a hot, dry, windy week moves the schedule earlier. If a hard frost is coming, Pocket Botanist tells you which plants will mind. And when you travel, vacation mode pauses every reminder and resumes the day you are back, so nothing piles up while you are away.

Free is plenty for most. Premium removes the daily cap and adds the Plant map, per-plant chat, and smart care.
